Day 12 | Prayer of Jabez
JABEZ CALLED UPON THE GOD OF ISRAEL, SAYING, “OH THAT YOU WOULD BLESS ME AND ENLARGE MY BORDER, AND THAT YOUR HAND MIGHT BE WITH ME, AND THAT YOU WOULD KEEP ME FROM HARM SO THAT IT MIGHT NOT BRING ME PAIN!” AND GOD GRANTED WHAT HE ASKED. 1 CHRONICLES 4:10
Bless me O’ Lord with Your strong right hand of favor over my life. Bless me to be a blessing to others. Like Jabez, my beginning may have been painful and full of sorrow, but through the cross Jesus made all things new. I am a new creation in Christ. I have been supernaturally recycled back to the Creator’s original design and purpose.
Bless me Heavenly Father with access to all my eternal inheritance as your child. Stretch my life to fit the potential that you have placed inside me. Remove any boundaries that would block anything that you want me to possess. Forgive the moments that I doubted your love and did not believe that I was acceptable in your sight. Enlarge my capacity to include your divinely inspired vision. Fill my heart to overflow with gifts you have in store for me.
Grant me your favor that opens doors that I could never access on my own strength. May your power be evident in my life for everyone to witness your grace and glory hovering over me. Close doors that would distract me from the path I am called to walk.
You are my strong tower, my refuge and protection. No evil can touch me or my loved ones. I stand on the Rock of my salvation and declare that Your Kingdom will come to earth and Your will be done in my life. Amen.
