Bless the Lord, O My Soul! O Lord my God, You are very Great! You are clothed in Splendor and Majesty. Psalm 104:1

Dear Lord, I join with the Psalmist in praying, “Bless the Lord, O my soul! My God, you are great!” My heart is filled with adoration and praise for who you are.

I lift the mighty name of God, the all-powerful one. With you I will never be defeated. You are a strong tower that I run to. You are my Rock that keeps me safe and my shield that extinguishes every fiery dart from the evil one.

I acknowledge that you are ever present with me. Even in the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are always with me. You are my eternal Good Shepherd who leads me beside still waters. Your faithfulness never leaves me or forsakes me.

Your ways are higher than my ways, and your plans for me are filled with hope and a bright future. You are the God of the New Covenant who has restored me as a new creation in your Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ.

You are my Good and Eternal Heavenly Father, and my Mighty God who fights my battles. You are my Wonderful Counselor who has anointed me your Holy Spirit to guide and comfort me with peace that surpasses all earthly understanding. You are forever Immanuel, God with us! God of gods, and Lord of lords. Always and forever, Amen.
