Day 4 | Prayer of Supplication and Petition

DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS. PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7

I kneel before you in this prayer and supplication letting my requests be made known to you my loving Father. I know that you hear me. I am confident that whatever I ask, I know that you will respond to my petitions. Because you have made me a righteous person, I know my prayers are effective. Jehovah, you are my provider and will meet all my needs according to the riches of glory in Christ Jesus.

Hear from heaven and forgive me. Again, I will set my face to the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions. I will allow nothing to make me anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving.

I pray one of the early church fathers, St. Augustine’s prayer: “Lord, I commit my failures and successes to your hands. I bring your healing to the people and the situations, the wrongs and the hurts of the past. Give me the courage, strength, and generosity to let go and move on, leave the past behind me, and live fully in the present. Lead me always to be positive as I entrust the past to your mercy, the present to your love, and the future to your providence.” Amen
