Do You Mind? Week 6

Come on. Somebody give Him some praise in this place. That was pretty good. If He ain't done nothing for you, yeah, come on. But if he's done anything for you, would you give him that type of praise? Do I have anybody in this place to give God praise? Take 10 seconds and give God your best praise. You still got seven seconds left. I try to be quiet, but he's done too much for me. I'm supposed to be sitting. Y'all don't get me started.

I'm so glad that you're here. If this is your first time here, welcome to Embassy City Church. We pray that you have enjoyed yourself so far, that you feel the presence of God and mostly that you receive whatever it is that you need from the Lord. For those that are watching online, thank you so much for joining us. Hey, I want to jump right in here. We are concluding our series that we have called, do You Mind? Has this been a blessing to anybody? Has the Lord done something for you? You know, Proverbs chapter 1411, verse 14 says, where no council is, the people fall. But in the multitude of counselors, there is safety. There's safety. The reason why we as the church are taking time, we've taken six weeks out to talk about the mind to talk about mental health, is because we believe that God wants you to feel safe and free as you live your Christian life and that includes your mind and somebody say Amen.

Grab your bibles. We're going to First Thessalonians chapter five, first Thessalonians chapter five, verse number 23. While you're turning there, I was actually asked a question last week that I thought would be good to address in the public forum. So someone came and asked me, what do you do when you're going through counseling? And there's many of us, we've gone through counseling for a while or therapy for a while, and there's some that may be brand new to it, and there are a lot of great Christian counselors out there, and then there are some weirdos. People know what I'm about, but what do you do when you go to someone that you feel like is a Christian counselor, but they give you some advice that you're like, I'm not sure that's the right thing, especially I don't know if this is the right thing for me. If you're taking notes, here are three ways for you to check if what you're hearing and receiving is right. Number one is the Holy Spirit gut check.

When you receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit will convict you. He will move in you. And the Bible says that he will teach you all things. And there are times when someone may be talking to you where you're not really sure if that's right or not. Look for that gut check that the Holy Spirit will give you like this. Don't sound right. Number two is have a close confidant with someone that you trust that you can process with after you go through a counseling session or after you see a therapist. Because there are people in your life that know you really well and they're able to tell and identify if what you're hearing is right or if that counselor's off because they have context to your life. So there may be something that a counselor says to you that you may consider to be maybe good advice, but then when you talk to your friend, they're like, nah, that ain't you Don't even do that. So that's a good way. And then here's the third way. Prayer. Prayer. Commit everything that you hear to prayer. Prayer is our communing with God. So everything that I receive, I take it to the Lord in prayer and the Lord will direct your path. Amen. Alright, first Thal Lord, chapter five, verse number 23. Here we go. Now, may the God of peace himself

Sanctify you. Somebody say completely and may your whole spirit, somebody say whole. May your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He Who calls you Is faithful.

Or we could go home just on that verse right there. Can anybody testify to the faithfulness of God, anybody who's been around God for any length of time, can you testify that God is faithful when friends have walked away, when family was acting crazy, when money was acting funny, when I didn't get the job that I applied for when I didn't get it approved for the house, when that business deal didn't go through, God is still

Faithful.

Faithful.

He Will surely do it. Lord have mercy. That right there, we could go home right now. Just that right there.

All right, so here's what I want to do today. My topic for today is completely whole, completely whole. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for allowing us to be in your presence. I pray that in the next few moments you'd give us ears to hear our hearts receive and a mind to understand what your word would say to us. Help us to walk out of here different than the way we walked in. I pray, Lord, that we would, as we culminate this series today, I pray that we would do some self-examining to see what area in our life you want to touch and help us to surrender all of us to you, for you are faithful and you will do it in Jesus name. And everybody say amen. Amen. Completely whole is interesting to go through this series because as we've gone through this series, you've most likely realized this about yourself. If you haven't before this series, human beings are complicated. Look at your neighbors. A neighbor, you're complicated. Some of y'all spouses was nervous.

I just opened up a whole can of worms when you said that you seem really passionate about are you human beings are complicated. We are complex creatures. We have so many different emotions. We have so many different variables packaged into one thing, right? We have highs and we have lows. We have ups and we have downs. We are not 100% perfect, but we're also not 100% imperfect. We've got good and we've got some evil tendencies. We've got pursuit after God and pursuit of some things that we like the flesh. We are complex creatures. But when you understand that we are created in the image and likeness of God, you understand why you are so complex because God is complex. Think about this. Have you ever tried to stop and understand who God is or how he works? For thousands of years, people have been trying to figure out the nature of God and his being and can't figure it out. And partly because the Bible even tells us that his ways are past finding out, you'll never be able to completely comprehend God. Because if you were able to completely comprehend God, he would cease. He would exist as God.

He is complex. So, but we can look at scripture and look at what are some things that make us complicated. What are some things that the scripture tells us about our makeup that give us understanding and insight into how we are created? And First Thessalonians chapter five does that because Paul is writing and he indicates that we have three components that make us a human being. The first is we have a spirit. And the spirit in the Greek is the word pneuma, where we get the word pneumatology and pneuma is breath or it's the immaterial aspect of you. You may have heard the word pneumonia. Pneumonia simply means a restriction of breath. PMA means breath. It's your spirituality. It's the part of you that makes you that we can't see.

But then you also have a body. The body in the Greek is called the sars. And the SARS is the flesh, or you could call it your earth suit. It's the part of you, it's your biology. It's the part of you that we see. And yet what we see is not really all there is to know about you because your biology is animated by your spirit. What's inside of you, your spirit is what animates the body. So you are not just a material being and you're not just a spiritual being. You're both immaterial and material. This is what makes you so complicated. We see you behaving in certain ways and we're like, oh, we think that's them. But really your spirit is off if you don't understand somebody. And when their behavior just know that their behavior is animated by an influence called the spirit, and the Bible says that our spirit is dead, but it's made alive at the point of salvation. Once we come into salvation, our spirit is made alive. And that's why you can usually tell on somebody's face or their countenance or their behavior that they have been saved. Why? Because your spirit changes the way you behave. Some churches teach you to change your behavior and not change your spirit.

That's just behavior modification and it won't be long until we going to see the spirit. That's not even in my notes.

So you have a spirit, you have a body, but you also have a soul. The soul, the Greek word for soul is the word psyche, and it's the mind will and emotions. It's the psychology part of you. All these three is called a trichotomy and you put 'em together. This is what makes you. In fact, we see this example in Genesis when God created Adam, the Bible says that God created Adam from the dust of the ground. He gave him a body, a biology, and he breathed into man the breath of life. That's Newman, that's the breath, that's your spirituality. And man became a living soul. He had a mind will emotion. That's the psychology. Now here's what's interesting. When God created Adam and Eve as a tri-dimensional being, as a trichotomy, possessing spirit, soul, and body, he created them perfect. There was no need for redemption.

Why? Because Adam and Eve were created and the perfect image and likeness of God, their biology, their spirituality, and their psychology was right. It was perfect. They were in the perfect garden. And yet when they sinned against God, sin caused them to feel the effects of separation in all three aspects of their life. Think about it. When sin entered into the world, they were affected in their spirituality, in that they were separated from the presence of God. They were affected in their biology, in that their body began to die and decay. And they were affected in their psychology because for the very first time, human beings felt what it was like to feel shame and guilt and be afraid. So since the beginning of time, since the fall of mankind, all of us who are born into sin, shape and iniquity, we feel the effects of separation and constraints on all three aspects of our life are biology, our spirituality and our psychology.

And all of us know that these three aspects of us instinctively have to be redeemed back to God. So at the moment of salvation, when you are justified, the Bible says that when you come into covenant with God at that moment, when you give your life to Christ, you're justified. That means that you have right standing. God has checked you off. Jesus said, now you are mine. You belong to me. But just because you're justified doesn't mean that everything is right yet because it's at the moment of justification that you begin the process of sanctification. And here's what's funny. If you've been in church any length of time, you've heard the word sanctification.

Holy ghost filled, water baptized, sanctified. And here's the thing, most of us don't really understand what sanctification means. Here's what sanctification means. Sanctification is the devoting or setting apart of anything to the worship or service of God. It means to be sanctified, holy consecrated. The process of sanctification begins at the moment of salvation. And guess what? It's a process. Now here's what's interesting. Lemme give you an example of what sanctification is. Let's say there's a person, they're serving a life sentence because they had a debt that they had no money to pay for. And someone pulls up who's got the money and says, guess what? I am willing to pay off their debt if you let 'em go. So they pay off the debt for the person. The person then is justified by the judge, which means they're back in right standing. And when the judge says, Hey, that person is now justified because an advocate, a person came and paid their debt, now they're free.

Their record is expunged. Now they get to walk in freedom. The problem with the prisoner is even though they are free, they're justified. Oftentimes they still have to walk through a process of living out the freedom that they've been given. And that's us. When we get justified at the moment of salvation, then we begin the process of sanctification. And for some of us, it takes a long time to realize that we are really free. What happens if you've been in prison for a long time and you get released from prison? You still got some prisoner habits because sometimes you can take a person out of prison, but they still have a prisoner mindset. Remember Israel? They came out of Egypt, but they still had some Egypt in them. They were justified, they were free, they were released, but they still had to work some stuff out of them. This is the process of sanctification. But here's the thing, sanctification is not easy. It takes sacrifice, it takes work, it takes you some time. Now, many want to be justified, but few want to be sanctified because justification is actually easy. You just give your life to Christ. Sanctification is harder, becoming more and more like Christ. And yet sanctification is the process we go through

In growing our understanding that we are free. Now here's an interesting part. If you've been in church any length of time, you most likely have heard often the church preach about sanctification when it comes to your spirituality. Hey, read your Bible, pray fast. Give concerned about your spirituality. And in combination with your spirituality, there's sanctification of your body. Don't go doing crazy stuff. Don't go out here, give up the drugs. Don't be sleeping around. Don't be a drunker. But very few sermons are preached about the sanctification of your psychology.

We can hyperfocus on the sanctification of your body and your spirit, but ignore the fact that your mind also needs to be sanctified. How many people practice holiness only in their body, holiness only in their spirituality, but when it comes to their mind, it hasn't yet been consecrated to God. And God says, I want every part of it. I want your body. I want your spirit, but I also want your mind. And if you're going to be completely whole, you can't just give God your body and your spirit. You also got to give them your mind.

Romans chapter 12 verse one, here we go. I appeal to you, therefore brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies. That's your biology as a living sacrifice, wholly and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. That's your spirituality. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your, that's your psychology. That by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. You cannot truly be transformed only by giving God your spiritual worship and your body. You also got to give them your mind. And for many people, they have an incomplete loop of wholeness and completeness because there's this part of them, their psychology that they haven't given to God. Oh Lord, at mercy. So here's what happens. You having the understanding that you are a tri dimensional being means that when you are feeling off, you got to do a health check of every part of you. When you feel stressed or you feel anxious or you feel depressed, let me give you three things that you need to check. First of all, check your body, check your biology. Here's the thing, a lot of times people are feeling stressed and they're feeling depressed, they're feeling anxious,

But they're also drinking 64 ounces of Coca-Cola in the morning. Stop my QT getting that Dr. Pepper. I'm getting, oh, I'm getting too bad. You got to check your body. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. What's that temple looking like? Is the Holy Spirit waiting through cholesterol? And that image just popped in my head. You got to check your body because a lot of times you may be praying right, you may be going to counseling, but when was the last time you checked your blood? I'm real practical right now. When was the last time you got a blood panel check checking your white blood cells? Look at what your cholesterol levels are. Maybe I should look at here, because your body is part of your wholeness. How does your body feel? Are you staying away from things that bring you inflammation? There are some people that are stressed out and anxious because they have an allergy to foods. Are you exercising? Check your body, check your biology. God made your body. Also check your spirit. If you're feeling anxious, check how's my nearness to God? There are times when I've felt anxious and I feel pressure and I realize, oh, I hadn't talked to God in a minute.

What's that? Are you in the word when you feel like you're in darkness? The Bible says Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path. Sometimes you may feel like you're in the dark because the flashlight's not on the word of God will highlight some things in your life because you can go to all the therapy that you want and eat bananas and grapefruits and all that stuff that nobody likes, like broccoli and asparagus.

But have you checked your spirit? Have you checked your spirituality? And here's the third aspect. Have you checked your soul? Have you done a health check of your mind? It could be that the reason why you're feeling low is because you've got some trauma in your background that you've not identified. Maybe you're dealing with shame. Maybe you're dealing with guilt. Maybe you don't want to identify. Maybe you don't want to make people feel bad, but there are so many people whose lives are being hindered because they won't identify the fact that guess what? Your parents weren't treating you right? You don't want to have an awkward Christmas, but you've been suffering for 20 years.

You got to do a health check of your psychology as well because God desires for you to be completely whole. So I want to talk about what it means to be completely whole based off of one Thessalonians chapter five, verse number 23. I'm going to read it again. Now, may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful. He will surely do it. The reason why we're doing a series and we're talking about your mental health and we're talking about your psychology in combination with theology is because it's biblical. And oftentimes we can talk so much about the spiritual aspect of the person or the biological aspect of the person. And we ignore the fact that God also gave you a mind. He gave you a will and emotions. He gave you a mind to think. And sometimes you can get into the presence of God and not really tap in because your mind isn't given to the Lord. How many have ever gone to prayer and your mind is somewhere else and after about 30 minutes you're like, what was I even talking about?

I've been repeating hallelujah for the last 15. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh yeah, I got to go to the grocery store. Hallelujah. Did I put that in my Amazon cart or how many have ever read the word of God but your mind is a thousand miles away and you've read 15 chapters and then you're like, I don't even remember what I read. I'm going to go ahead and check it off in my Bible app. Not that I've done that, I'm just saying, but God wants you completely whole. So let's talk about, I want to give you some points of what it takes to be completely whole. Number one, the source is God. The source is God. Paul's opening phrase in this passage, he says, the God of peace himself. You know who owns peace? God. God is the one that owns peace. Don't give anybody else credit for what belongs to God. He owns it. He's the God of peace himself. Here's the truth. Only God can make you better. Think about that for a minute. Only God can make you better. Some people give too much credit to a counselor,

To a counselor can help you, but only God can truly heal you. And here's the thing, God will use different tools to make you better. He will use a counselor. He will use a therapist just like he will use a doctor to heal your body. Listen, if your leg is broke, go get it fixed and trust that God will use the doctor to help fix your leg. If you believe that God can use a doctor to fix your leg, why wouldn't you believe that God could use a counselor to fix your mind? But that's demonic. There are some demonic out there, but then there are some people that are mightily used of God to help bring some stuff to service. So number one, recognize that the source of God. Number two is it takes time.

We love to rush the process of God because we want God to fix it. All right? Now, what happened? I went to one counseling session. It cost me a buck 50. You know what I'm saying? I need you to tell me everything really fast. Here's the thing, here's what the scripture says. The God of peace himself will sanctify you completely. This literally means that God is going to put you through a process that may take some time. Listen, God is not interested in fried chicken. You're going to be in the process of rotisserie. It's easy to batter up some chicken and throw it in some oil and fry it and it's delicious, but it's also not good for you. But when you come into the process of God will take you, he'll season you up, he'll put them forks into you. He'll put you on the rack of that, whatever rotisserie your, and he'll have you spinning while you're spinning, and he's not going to get you out until all of you is completely cooked to the temperature that he wants. Oh Lord, I know y'all are hungry. Y'all are like, okay, let's wrap this up on trying to go to cowboy chicken.

Here's what's interesting about rotisserie chicken. Why am I on rotisserie chicken? I must be hungry too. It ain't done until it's done. God is not interested in flash fried Christianity and some people skip the oil and go straight to an air fryer. That's even worse. God is going to allow you to cook for a while and we as the church need to be okay with watching people spend while they spend getting cooked until every part of you, God's not going to take you out. If your underside is still undercooked soft and skin not crispy, he's going to cook you. This is just what goes through my head, but it's a process. So as you've through this series and maybe God's highlighted some things and maybe you want to fix it right now, I went to the altar. Why am I still thinking this way? I went through counseling. Why am I still going through this? It's a process. God sanctifies us completely until when the coming of the Lord, you mean I'm going to be in process until Jesus comes?

You mean there are parts of me that God is continuing to cook after I've been living for God for 20 years? Yes, I've been in church all my life and I'm still cooking. Can anybody testify to that? You've been in church for 30 years and you're like, man, I did not even think about this area of my life, but that's what God does. He highlights areas in your life and he tells you, Hey, listen, living for God is a walk. It's not a sprint. The race is not given to the swift, but to those who, what endure to the end, when is the end is when Christ comes, God's going to take his time with you so that you can be fully cooked.

Here's number three. He wants all of you. May your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many of us do not feel complete because we have not given God all of us.

If you are going to be honest, you have to be honest with the Lord. This is not about being honest with anybody except for the Lord. If you are going to be honest with the Lord, here's the question that God has for you. Have you given me all of you? Have you given me your body, your spirit, and your soul? Have you given me your thoughts? Every sin in your life begins with a thought. Nobody just falls into sin. You think about it first, and as you think about it, it works its way out into your body. Can I tell you a sure way

to stop sinning is to completely give your mind to Christ. Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus. You know why Christ said he could always do the will of the Father because all of him was committed to the work of the Father. God wants all of you. Let me ask you this. Be honest with the Lord. Have you given him all of you? Or are there parts of you that you've held back?

Because you cannot experience complete wholeness until you give every part of you. That means your spirit, your body, and your mind. That's why this series is called Do you Mind? Because the question that we're asking in this series is, have you surrendered your mind to Christ or has your mind gotten in the way of you completely experiencing all that God has for you? Can I tell you that you will not walk into the fullness of everything that God has for you as long as you're holding parts of you back, you can experience the goodness of God to a certain degree, but how much more does God have for you if you are willing to give him everything He wants it all? And here's the good part. Here's number four. Jesus is faithful. The good part about this entire series, the culmination of this series, is that it's not up to you to sanctify yourself. Well, that's good news. It's not up to you to make yourself completely perfect, to walk right, to talk, right, to change your mannerisms. You don't have to start talking like you're in King James.

He who calls you is faithful. He will surely do it. I know that this series has created some vulnerabilities for many of us. I know that in this series, there are some things that may have been highlighted for you that you didn't think about for a while, but there were pain points in your life. Maybe you've dealt with anxiety and depression and you thought, you know what? God don't really care about that. I just show up to church. I'm going to do my thing. And then we talk about it in church. You're like, oh my Lord, is the Lord concerned that I'm dealing with depression? Is he concerned that I'm in a codependent relationship? Is he concerned that I am dealing with a narcissist or that I may be a narcissist? Is God concerned? And the word of God is highlighting that for you. And for many of us, it makes us feel vulnerable. And when you feel vulnerable, you want to do like Adam and Eve run and hide and cover it up. But here's the thing about God. He knows exactly where you're hiding and he knows exactly what you're trying to cover up with. And he's got something better to cover you with because fig leaves ain't going to do it. You need to be covered completely with coats that only God can provide. And here's the amazing part. If you are willing to be honest with the Lord and give him everything and expose everything to him, he is faithful to heal you. He is faithful to cover you. He is faithful to sanctify you completely. I wonder how many Christians walk around not fully alive because they're holding back apart from the Lord and that is their mind.

Here's the thing about the mind. Nobody can get in there except for you and the Lord. So no one even knows what's happening in your thought life except for you and the Lord. And how sweet would your life be to experience complete wholeness so that you can walk around without shame, without guilt, without feeling like you're missing out? That's what the series has been all about. At the end of the day when we finish the series, we could walk off and say, well, that was a great part, but my desire for you is that you live for God completely whole, completely healed. There are a lot of broken people in church that we don't even know are broken. They look right, they shout right? They know just how hot to shout, want to lift their hands when to say glory. But inside they have been suffering. And what God has done through this series, I pray, is he put the spotlight on you. And he says, I want that thought. I want that emotion. I want that trauma. I want that hurt. I want that pain. Well, God, it hurts for me to reveal it. I know. But the only one who has healing self for your soul is Jesus.

Will you give him all of you? Will you give him all of you? I'll close with this. I just want to pose this question. What part of you needs healing right now? Is it your spirit? Maybe your spirit is broken. Maybe your spirit, maybe your relationship with God is fragmented. Maybe that's the part that needs healing. Maybe it's your body. Maybe it's literally physical, is your biology that you need healing in? Or maybe it's your mind. Maybe Satan, he ain't worried about your body, he ain't worried about your spirit, but maybe he's projecting thoughts and it's been causing you to just always be anxious. Because here's the trick about the mind. You feel like everybody knows. Can I talk to some men? Can I talk to some men? Listen, bro, you're not any more masculine being a macho man. God wants all of you, my brother, and he wants you to admit that there are some things that you need that you may not have gotten when you were a kid. And in our culture, we teach men to toughen up. And then we have a lot of broken men who look like they got it all figured out, but their soul is crushed and they don't feel like they have a place to go. Lemme tell you, bros, us,

You may need a hug. I don't need no hug. I'm good. No, you may need a hug because maybe your soul is aching for comfort and affirmation and love and kindness. Can you give that to God? Can you admit that to the Lord? Can you share your feelings? Can you share your soul? Can you take your mind will and emotions? And can you give it to God? Can I talk to some wives in here? Can I talk to some wives in here? It may be that your husband is acting distant and stuff because he's wrestling through some stuff in his mind and you hold a key. Just give him a hug. And if he stiffens up, hug him tighter. Boy, you ain't going nowhere. But there are so many individuals. Ladies, can I talk to you? Share what you need. You ain't got to try to. I'm a strong independent woman. I don't need nobody. Yes, you do. Stop playing. You may need a hug too. Maybe you need to go share what you've gone through. It's too heavy of a burden for you to keep up to yourself. It's too heavy. God wants you completely whole. The only way we could do that is we got to give God everything. Amen. Lord,

Thank you. Then we've had the opportunity over the last six weeks to go to your word, to be open, to be honest, to be transparent, mainly with you, Lord. But I pray that there are many people that have found healing, that have found the beginning, the end road, the wholeness. And I pray, Lord, that we would be fully aware that every part of us needs to be healed and grow, needs to be redeemed back to you, our spirit, our body, and our mind. Do a good work. Lord, heal the brokenness. Lord, heal the shame. Heal the pain, comfort those who have gone through trauma, familial trauma, sexual trauma, religious trauma, rebuked to devour. The enemy that tries to convince us that to reveal our weakness is to be weak, when really to reveal our weakness is strength. And it's in our weakness that you are strong. Because unless we're able to expose the areas of our lives that are weak, we can't receive healing in those areas. So I pray, Lord, that over the last six weeks, as you've worked on me, as I'm working on these sermons, that you would work on your people as well.

I pray that it's not my words that they hear, but they're your words. You're the source. You are the faithful one. And help us to experience complete wholeness so that we can walk this Christian life free, completely free, free in our body, free in our spirit, free in our minds, God, that we don't have any kind of pressures from the enemy. Any kind of soft areas where the enemy likes to poke us, help us Lord, to expose ourselves completely to you so that you can completely heal us. We thank you, Lord for what you're doing and what you're going to continue to do in Jesus name. As we close this series, we're going to have as we've done every week, a moment of worship. And I would just like to ask you to stay in just the posture of openness as the worship team sings, because I believe that in the next few moments, the Lord is going to reveal to you what area of your life you need healing in. And I believe that God is going to begin the process of healing those areas. So I want you to think through as we sing the song, think through your body. Think through your spirit. Think through your mind

And be honest with the Lord. That's where I need healing. God.

There's nothing. The questions we have have been said, God and man, he felt it all highest king, but still he's low enough to meet us. Where we're He? Understand he was alone left. Now his friends foxes have holes. He had nowhere where to go, no place to lay his head. So if anyone know, he and I found a friend praise like me, so I won't feel guilty, gives me space to be what He understand. He was his fox to go, no place to lay. So if anyone knows, he understand the pain you feel inside.

He understand

The tears. You cry at night. I know you

Understand.

He's my

Friend

And I don't have to understand He. So if he

Speaking of Jesus, Jesus as a young boy goes, he's talking to the leaders at the temple. His mom comes, says, Hey, what are you doing? Jesus says, I must be about my father's business. She said, no, you ain't ready yet. You ain't fully cooked yet. And then Bible says this in Luke chapter two, verse 51, and he went down with them, the speak of Jesus and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. He submitted himself to a process and his mother treasured up all these things in her heart. And I check this out. And Jesus increased. He grew in wisdom, them psychology and in stature, biology and in favor with God and with man spirituality. Jesus demonstrated to us. Jesus demonstrated to us how important it is to be complete. Because following this, you find Jesus stepping into the ministry that he came to earth for how many of us, God is waiting for us to complete, submit yourself to grow and increase in these three areas of your life so that you can fully step into everything that God has for you. For some of us, the opportunities haven't opened up. Why? It's not because you're a bad person. It's not not cool,

But there's an area of your life that you've not submitted to God yet. He wants all of it. He wants all of it. Amen. You would stand on your feet. Here's what I want you to do At the conclusion of this series, if there's any area of your life that you want prayer for, come meet with anyone that's here on this altar team. Tell 'em, Hey, man, you don't have to go into details necessarily, but man, the Lord's highlighted some things in my life. I just want prayer for boldness. I want prayer for. And then maybe you want to admit something and you want to talk to somebody, come up here and get prayer. If not, if not, that's great. Pray for those who are still in the process, and I pray that this series has opened you up to God and get healing where you need healing. Get help where you need help, and let God make you completely whole. Amen. Alright, if you need prayer, come on up. If not, we will see you here next week. God bless.
