I know y'all want to sing it. Say, "I love you, Jesus, I love. Dad, I love you." Say, "I love you, Jesus." Is that your prayer today? Do you really love him? You know, your love is tested by tribulation. So be like, oh, Lord. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to say, "I love you," to someone when everything's going great? Think about it. You know, when newlywed couples, they're in honeymoon phase, and it's like, "I love you, as we're sitting on the beach in our water bungalow." Then, boom, a disagreement, a tragedy, a question, and it's a test. Do you really love him, right? Jesus said, "In this life, you will have trouble." The test of your love for Jesus is really tested in tribulation. And if you have endurance during tribulation, that's a good test, that's a good indicator that you really, really love the Lord, because a true love bond is not predicated on circumstances or how good things are.
If you can learn to love your spouse when things are rough, you can really enjoy when things are good. And you should be able to enjoy each other's company even when stuff is rough, right? That's why you should always be intentional, intentional about your love, right? I don't throw around the word love very often unless I'm actually serious about it. You know, some people are like, "I love you." You're like, "You don't know me." We're going into the word of God. If you would stand to your feet, we're going to Acts chapter 1, the book of Acts chapter 1. We're starting to start reading at verse number 6. We are today ending our series on apologetic. And has this series helped anybody? Has this been a blessing to you? As you know, we've been going through the series called Unapologetic, and it's really an apologetic series.
And what we've done, if you've noticed over the last four weeks, is we've walked through really the Christian journey. We started off with asking the question, is Christianity true? Then we went on to soteriology, what is salvation and why is baptism important? Then we talked about the Holy Spirit, who He is and what He does in your life. Then we talked about communion, the importance of being part of a community, which is that we bring our offering and then we all have a communal feast from it. And that's in every respect of the kingdom. We bring what we have, our gifts, our talents, our treasure, and it is for the edification of the body. Edification is just a fancy word of saying the building up of the body. And so today we're going to wrap up the series. I know some of y'all probably are wanting me to talk about the end times, and I can't do that in one service. Some of you may be wanting me to talk about the gifts, spiritual gifts. I'm not going to talk about that today, but here's the teaser. We're going to do an entire series this year on spiritual gifts, and I'm really looking forward to that. It's going to be a good one.
But today I want to draw your attention to Acts 1, verse number 6. Here's what it says. So when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" And he said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority." That's a nice way of saying, "None of your business." But, somebody say, "But." You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. And somebody say, "Amen." Here is the topic we're covering today. Just the question, what is a witness? What is a witness? Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we're so grateful, so thankful to be in your house. I pray that in the next few moments, as we consider your word, you would give us revelation. Let rhema come to us. Let the word come alive. I pray that we would walk out of here different than the way we walked in, that we would walk out equipped to be a witness. Do what only you could do. Move as only you can move. We give you name, the praise, and the glory. In Jesus' name, and everybody say, "Amen."
Amen.
Look at your neighbor and say, "Neighbor."
Neighbor.
"You are."
You are.
"A witness."
A witness.
Look at your other neighbor. Say, "Other neighbor."
Other neighbor.
"You are."
You are.
"A witness."
A witness.
You may be seated. For the past four weeks, we have discussed from an apologetic standpoint major tenets, major topics in the Christian faith. We've covered the major topics such as salvation, baptism, the Holy Spirit, communion, and we've done it from an apologetic standpoint, which means that we didn't just look at the topic spiritually, but we looked at the topic logically and within reason as well. And one thing about apologetics that I love is that apologetics is concerned with equipping oneself with an intellectual and a reasonable knowledge of the Christian message. And the reason why that's important is because it's one thing to just say you believe it.
It's another thing to know what you're saying when you say you believe it. And so our job over the last four weeks has been to equip ourselves with language, with biblical references, with reason, with logic, with intellect, to be able to understand what we believe in the Christian faith. However, if all we do is grow intellectually and all we do is understand reasonably the Christian faith and do nothing with it, it will lead very quickly to legalism and empty religion. Because religion without relationship creates hypocrisy. In fact, this is exactly what Jesus was dealing with. When Jesus came, he was primarily having run-ins with two major groups, the Sadducees and the Pharisees. These were groups who at that time were the experts in the law. They knew the 600 plus laws of the Jewish religion. They understood the ins and outs. They knew the law books forward and backwards.
However, they lacked relationship. They were so concerned with the letter of the law that they forgot about the giver of the law. In fact, they were so steeped in their understanding of the law and they put so much confidence in the letter of the law that when Jesus healed a person on the Sabbath day, instead of rejoicing that the man was healed, they were ticked off that Jesus did it on the Sabbath. And this is what they said, "Don't you know that we're not supposed to be working on the Sabbath day?" And Jesus was like, "So would you rather this man not be healed so that you can keep up with the law?"
How many people today know about the letter of the gospel but don't really know the message of the gospel internally? And if we're not careful, apologetics can become for us a tool that we use to cut people down rather than understand that apologetics is you equipping yourself for a greater purpose. So what is the purpose of this entire series? What is the purpose of apologetics? Let me take you back to the first scripture that we read in the first sermon of this series, 1 Peter 3:15. This is what Peter said, "But in your hearts, honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. Yet do it with gentleness and respect." The purpose of this entire series, the purpose of all the apologetics, all of the reasoning that we've been doing, all of the intellectual knowledge, the purpose for all of this is for one reason, and that is to be a witness. So of course, then the question becomes, what is a witness and what does it mean? In every language, a witness is someone who has seen, heard, and/or experienced something significant and can testify of it.
In every language, a witness is someone who has seen, heard, and/or experienced something so significant that they can testify of it. In courtrooms, we know that whether you're on the prosecution side or the defense side, you know that when it comes to really driving the point home, they want to call in their star witness. On the news, you can talk about the events of what happened, a tornado came through here, this is what happened, but the greatest form of news is when you can call an eyewitness. Why? Because a witness doesn't have to convince anyone with eloquency. A witness doesn't have to try to translate something in their own words. All a witness has to do is simply tell the truth about what they experienced personally. This is the very concept that Jesus uses when he describes the mission of every believer in Acts1:8. Let's read it again. This is Jesus responding to the disciples. He says, "But you will receive power." Somebody say, "Power."
Power.
Power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Now, I want to give you some context here, because oftentimes when we read scripture, especially a passage, we cannot understand if we just read it purely from the verse, and we don't understand what's happening around it or what has led us to this point. We can miss the point of the passage. So let me catch you up to speed. Acts 1:8, Jesus is getting ready to ascend. He has already been risen now for 40 days. He's been appearing to the disciples, and he is about to ascend, and now he's gathered with his disciples, and he's giving them some last words before he's about to take off. Now, you have to understand the position that the disciples were in at this point, because for the last three years, these disciples have been running with Jesus from the beginning.
When Jesus is baptized and he declares himself in the presence of everyone that he truly is the Son of God, he leaves there, he goes on mission to the wilderness, and he's led by the Spirit into the wilderness. He comes out of the wilderness in the power of the Spirit. He declares what he has come to do, the fulfillment of the prophecy, and then the next thing that he does before he gets into his journey of his ministry is he selects very carefully 12 disciples who are going to be his closest allies to be there when he is performing all of these miracle signs and wonders. So just imagine that you're Peter or Matthew or any of the disciples. You've been living a pretty ordinary life. Peter, you're just fishing every day, catching fish, maybe some big ones, maybe some small ones. Matthew, your job is very simple. You're a tax collector. You're just taking advantage of people. You have all these disciples who are living ordinary lives, and here comes this individual who declares himself to be the Son of God, and he is calling you to become his ally as he does ministry.
So you're curious, and you follow to see what he's up to. And then imagine that as a regular person who is going through regular life, you're going with Jesus, and you begin to experience and see and hear some extraordinary things. Imagine what it must have been like for the disciples to be there at the wedding when Jesus turned water into wine and to think, okay, I've seen some stuff, but I've never seen that. And then to witness Jesus continue to do all of these miracles. Imagine what the disciples must have felt like the first time when Jesus took a man who was blind and said, "Receive your sight," and right in front of your eyes, you are watching someone who was blind all of a sudden in a moment begin to see. Imagine what you must have felt like if you were there for the very first moment when you saw somebody who could not walk, verifiably could not walk, not somebody who was planted there for a conference, but somebody who had been in a situation for a long time, and Jesus walks up and says, "Pick up your bed and walk," and out of nowhere, a man who could not walk gets up, grabs his own bed, and begins to walk.
Imagine what it must have been like for the disciples to be there at each one of these miracles to watch as a demoniac was delivered after years spending his nights in a graveyard. Imagine what it must have felt like to watch a woman who had an issue of blood get healed instantly just by touching the hem of his garment. Imagine what it must have felt like to handle with your own hands bread and fish that would not stop multiplying. Imagine what it must have felt like to be there as people were so desperate to get to Jesus that they're taking off roofs and letting down people. Imagine what it must have been like for Jesus to take a detour and find a woman at the well to tell her her business, and then as a result of that, she evangelizes her entire town. Imagine you would never be the same. You can't just go back to fishing. How are you going to go back to fishing? After witnessing people who had leprosy get healed. How can you go back to life as usual once you've been affected by what you've seen, what you've heard, and what you've experienced?
And on top of everything off, they're sitting there, the disciples of Jesus, He goes to the cross and they think, surely he's about to call down 10 legions of angels. He doesn't do it. And then you watch as he dies on a cross and they put him in a tomb and you think, whoa, is that it? You watch as they place him into a grave and three days later, you go to the grave where he's supposed to be, but he ain't there. And you're like, he's not done. He's back. Angels are sitting there going like, "Why are you trying to seek the living among the dead? He's not dead any longer." And you know that he's capable of doing this because you were an eyewitness that time when Lazarus was in the grave and they thought that he was too late. And Jesus said, "I'm not too late. I'm right on time." And Jesus said, "Lazarus come forth." And some people believe that he had to specifically say Lazarus because if Jesus said, "Come forth," every grave would have emptied out. So you know that Jesus is capable of doing it.
And now you're sitting there for 40 days. You're hanging out with Jesus, the resurrected Christ. And you're like, what else can he do? Can he walk through walls? He just did it. Can he disappear? He's already done that. Can he heal the sick? He's done that. Can he resurrect himself? He's done that. What else can you actually do? Fly? He's already done that too, right? So now they're sitting there with Jesus and the disciples no doubt are wondering, what is next? How do you top this on everything that we've seen and that we've experienced and everything that we've been witnesses of? And we know your capabilities and we know your power and we know your ability. What is all of this about? Surely at this point, the only thing left to do is for you to establish your kingdom on the earth, to overthrow the Roman rule, to get rid of all the crazy stuff that's been happening and declare yourself as the king here on earth, that you're gonna continue the reign that David used to have, surely at this point, that's the next move.
And Jesus, in the most casual way as he always does, he goes, "None of your business. Don't even concern yourself with when the kingdom is gonna be established. No one knows the time or the season. But this is what I am gonna do. This is the reason why you did experience everything." He says this, "You will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes on you to be my witness." I want you to notice something, Jesus doesn't say, you're gonna receive the Holy Spirit so that you might, maybe, if you'd like to, optional, check if you'd like to say yes, be a witness. Jesus doesn't say that being a witness is only relegated to those who have the gift of evangelism. Jesus doesn't say that only certain people are gonna be witnesses. Jesus literally says that the primary purpose of you receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is that you will be empowered to be my witness. Now think about this. Many of us have a misconception about what a witness is. We think that only those who are gifted with evangelism, like a Billy Graham can go out and tell the story of the gospel.
Most of us think that this is only relegated to certain people. But in fact, the primary activity of the Holy Spirit in your life is for you to demonstrate to others the power of God at work in your life. The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is not for you to shout. And obviously, I like to shout. The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is not for you to run, although you can run. The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is not for you to speak in tongues, although it will edify you. The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is not for you to do all of these miracle signs and wonders, although miracle signs and wonders are awesome. It's not for you to prophesy, although prophecy will edify the body. But the primary purpose of the Holy Spirit in your life is to empower you to be a representation of the kingdom of God in the earth to people who don't know the kingdom.
Now, here's something worth pausing over. The word witness in the New Testament actually comes from the Greek word martyrs or martyrs. Initially, it meant a person who gives testimony. So when a lawyer would get up and they're making a case in a courtroom, they would say, "Now I call forth a martyr." And a martyr was somebody who would come up and give testimony of what they have seen, heard, or experienced. They didn't have to be an expert witness. They didn't have to have forensic proof. They didn't have to know DNA. They simply had to just tell people what you saw. And that is the most powerful evidence when it comes to a court case that can seal the deal. Was anybody there to see it? So when everybody's talking about Jesus, and all the miracles that he did, the question is, was anybody there to see it?
And Peter could say, "I was there. I didn't just see him walk on water. I got to walk on water." A witness for Christ is not simply someone who speaks about religion. A witness is someone who has encountered Jesus, been changed by him, and lives to share that truth regardless of the cost. This is why the word martyr actually came to be synonymous with one who gives his life for the gospel. Now I want to show you four key truths of a witness. Point number one, a witness is someone who has seen and experienced the truth. A witness is someone who has seen and experienced the truth. 1 John 1:1 says this, that which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and have touched with our hands concerning the word of life, that which we have seen and heard, we proclaim also to you. A witness is not repeating rumors. I think this is what God does. I've heard it said that Jesus can do this. So many people will borrow other people's testimonies, but a witness is someone who speaks from personal experience.
You may not have walked with Jesus physically like John, but if you are saved, you've encountered Jesus in a way that is a witness to what he's able to do. If God has ever healed your body, you're a witness. If he has ever touched your mind, you're a witness. If he has ever made a way where there seems to be no way, you're a witness. If he's ever provided for you supernaturally, you're a witness. If he's ever called some stuff out of you that you didn't even know was in you, you're a witness. If he's ever put your marriage together, you're a witness. If he's ever, is there anybody in here that can say, "I'm a living, breathing testimony of the goodness of God?" Is there anybody? Some of us need to stop being ashamed of the story that God has given us. We're so quick to borrow somebody else's story, but you've got a story. If he's delivered you out of addiction, you ought to tell somebody.
And we always think that we have to have some egregious story in order to be a witness. Can I tell you my testimony? I ain't ever been in a trap house because God kept me from it. I haven't done any drugs. That's my testimony. Sometimes you gotta talk about the goodness of God and keeping you from some stuff. But a witness is not somebody that tells rumors. It's somebody who has literally seen God work in their life, they have a story. Listen, God did not allow you to have a story for you to keep your story silent. How many people are closet Christians? They feel like witnessing is just somebody else's job. Here's the thing. If you've got a story and everyone who is a believer has one, you ought to tell somebody. You don't need to have a seminary degree.
You don't need to have a law degree. You don't need to come up with all the arguments. Just tell people what God's done in your life. Well, when do I have the opportunity? Whenever. At the restaurant when somebody gives you your drink. Say, "Thank you, God, and you, sir." They may ask you, "Why are you thanking God?" "Because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have water." It's simple. Point number two. A witness tells the truth no matter the cost. After being arrested and commanded not to speak about Jesus, Peter and John replied in Acts 4:19. This is what he says, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge. For we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard." True witnesses speak up even when it's risky. In a world right now that is trying to temper Christianity, trying to make Christianity even and not so offensive. Let me tell you something, the gospel is offensive to the kingdom of darkness. Some people think that it's you.No, you're not supposed to be offensive.
But the message that we preach is offensive. What? To the kingdom of darkness. Light is offensive to darkness. Salt is offensive to things that are not salted. So when you begin to witness, yes, you are going to deal with some persecution. Here's the thing, we must remember our silence is not neutral. Can I say it again? Our silence is not neutral. To stay silent when the truth must be spoken is to withhold life-giving hope from a dying world. When we don't share the gospel, the question is who will? And the primary reason why God saved you is not because he wants another number in heaven, it's because he wants to use you as an agent of the kingdom of heaven to gather more people for his kingdom. Being a witness will sometimes cost you comfort, it'll cost you relationships, it'll cost you reputation. Man, they're really a Jesus lover. Yes, question mark.
I would rather be known as a Jesus lover than, you fill in the blank. I was about to name some stuff. Point number three, a witness lives the message they proclaim. Matthew 5:16 says this, in the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your father who is in heaven. Isn't it interesting that here this passage says you should work in such a way that when people see you work, they actually glorify God. That your work, the way you handle business, the way you treat people, the way you, what time you come to work? You're supposed to be there at 9:00, You're still in the parking lot at 9:15. They're gonna say, "Man, umm... Okay." Uh-oh. The way you talk to people at your job, the way you slap your head, the way you treat people on the highway. He's still working on me. There are still some people driving below the speed limit in the left lane and we pray for you. Messing up my witness.
Just drive around them and pray for them. In the name of Jesus, Lord, help them to get right in more ways than one. But your life is part of your witness. The work you produce, how you treat people, how you honor contracts, the timelines you give people, the work you produce. Is it subpar or is it representation of the kingdom? Because a lot of people will actually ask you about how you live your life based on what you produce. And this is why Jesus said they will know you by your fruits. If you produce rotten fruits, we gotta do a root check. And a tree that does not produce fruits is to be hewn down and cast into the fire. Jesus' words, not mine. Holiness, humility, love, integrity all give weight to your words. Does your life reflect your words? Can you preach the gospel without saying a word? Can you preach the gospel without ever saying a word? Do people want to know about the hope that's in your life based on how you respond to tribulation?
Based on how you respond to persecution when everybody is falling off the bandwagon and you have peace that seems to surpass all understanding? People want to know, where are you getting that from? How do you live that way? How are you behaving? How can you handle all this stuff and still have joy? That's when you become a real witness. When the gospel is lived out in real time, at home, at work, in moments of crisis or joy, people see something different. And this may be the open door for you. When people say, "Man, I would have cussed them out." You say, "Yeah, God bless them. Bless them real good." They'll be all like, "I want to pray some of the prayers that David prayed. Lord, let a brick fall down." Let your life preach the gospel. Then your words will actually have power behind them. Point number four, last point. A witness is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 says, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses. This is not a mission you fulfill on your own strength. It is a commission given to anyone who is a disciple of Christ. Witnessing is not the responsibility of certain people who are gifted with evangelism. Witnessing is a responsibility of anyone who's encountered Jesus and been changed by his power. And it's not that complicated. It's based on how you live, what you do, what you say, and what you produce.
Here's the question. When people see your life, do they know there's something different about you? Or do you blend in? Because here's what I can tell you about someone who has been touched by Jesus. They can sit there and warm themselves by the fire with everybody else denying that they know Jesus. And others will still know, no, nice try. You are one of them, right? When you've been hit by the gospel, you can try to blend in with the world, it ain't gonna work. Try to help you. They're gonna be like, "Man, you seem corny. There's something off about you." And it's because once you have encountered Jesus, your life is different. You walk different, you talk different, you say things differently.
Listen, you don't have to manufacture results. The truth is, you've been given the power of the Holy Spirit to be a witness of the kingdom of God. And everything that the kingdom of God produces is good. When was the last time you just invited the Holy Spirit into your work? Well, I just put in numbers. Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to put the numbers in correctly. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you favor so that your life can be a witness. I wonder who's in your world and your sphere of influence right now that needs the gospel? How long has it been since you've asked the Lord to use you as a witness for the gospel? Let's get back to our original text, the original question, what is a witness? A witness is someone who has experienced the truth of Jesus personally. A witness is someone who tells the truth boldly, even when it costs. A witness lives the message with integrity and love. A witness is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Let me ask you this, in what the Lord has called you to do, are you living out the witness of the kingdom?
Now here's the cool thing. We often think that the Great Commission started in Matthew 28, right before Jesus sent it and he said, "Hey, go into all the world." We think, oh, that's the Great Commission. But did you know that Jesus' commandment, His Great Commission, was only a recommission for what God originally said to Adam and Eve in Genesis? Because when God created Adam and Eve, He looked at Adam and Eve and He said, "I want you to go out, be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, have dominion." God's initial plan for His creation, remember who His creation was? They were created in the image and likeness of God. God's commission to Adam and Eve as image bearers was to reproduce image bearers. But not just reproduce image bearers, but be representative agents of His kingdom in the earth. God's intention for Adam and Eve was not for them to stay in the garden, eating apricots and figs. I pray for those who love those.
God's intention for Adam and Eve was to start in the garden, but then to populate the entire earth with what? More of the image of God. More of the dominion of God. Bring the entire earth into the dominion of the kingdom. This is exactly parallel with what Jesus, the second man, Adam, commissioned us to do, is to go and do what? Reproduce image bearers so that what? We can have more representative agents of the kingdom of God at work in the earth so that when you go to your job, you are affecting it in a way that nobody else can. So when you write that contract this week, when you close that deal, when you build that home, when you reconstruct, when you sell that car, when you're putting in those numbers, when you're babysitting those kids, when you're serving that coffee, when you're giving them that plate of food, when you're refilling that drink, when you're putting in that application, when you're studying, when you're taking that test, you're doing it as a witness of Jesus.
What is your life showing? That's the whole point of this entire series. I wasn't just trying to teach you to have head knowledge so that you can find people to argue with. Now I really can get, bet you don't even know what soteriology is. The point is not for us to become intellectual just to be intellectual. The reason for us to grow intellectually and to get reason, to get wording is so that we can respond to people who need hope. So let me ask you this, who in your world needs hope? Who in your world needs hope? When you're counseling that person, are you just giving the facts that you read from some book in psychology? Are you letting the Holy Spirit influence your words in a way that where they don't just hear words, they feel the Spirit of God? No matter where you are, you can be in a secular environment, I dare you just to invite the Holy Spirit to come into your room and watch what happens in your cubicle. Type it away, minding your business. Somebody comes in and says, "I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I'm having a hard time." That's the Holy Spirit using you to be a witness.
Here's your assignment this week. Witness to somebody. Tell somebody about Jesus. Listen, it's not about, you know, getting people to come to church so you can have more. No, no, no. It's about getting people to go to the kingdom of God. It doesn't matter. They don't have to come to Embassy. They don't have to come to Embassy. We're the type of church, we want you to be where you can grow in God. And if it's here, great. If it's not here, great. Wherever you are, we want you to grow in God. Why? Because at the end of the day, we're all going to get to heaven and there'll be one church, one body, one bride, and we're all going to sing Glory to God together in concert.
The question is, how many people are you taking with you? How many people are you taking with you? Would you stand to your feet? Would you close your eyes? Would you lift your, just lift your hands. And I want you to just pray this prayer. Say, "Dear Jesus, use me as a witness to share the gospel with someone." In your own words, I want you just to pray a prayer. Just I want you to commit yourself to being a witness. We're going to have a time of worship just to seal a moment, to pause and reflect what you've just heard through the word of God.
[music]
In Jesus, we commit ourselves to you, Lord. As the apostles and disciples committed themselves to being your witnesses, even willing to give their lives, I pray that we'd have that type of conviction, that we would represent the kingdom of God in everything that we do. So I pray that the Holy Spirit would embolden and empower us to be representatives for your kingdom in everything that we do, in our creativity and the things that we produce that's new and the things that no one's thought about, the key ideas, the presentations at our job, the deals that we close, the houses that we build, the renovations that we make, whatever it may be that you've called us to do as our vocation, I pray that you would allow those things to be witnesses of the kingdom. We thank you, Lord God, for your grace and mercy. Show us who in our circle needs the gospel and help us to be the answer for them. In Jesus' name. And somebody say, "Amen." Amen. Can you give God some praise in this place?
Oh, yes. I'd like for our prayer team to come. As our prayer team comes, if there's anything that you need prayer for, I want you to come get prayer. This is something that I feel just to kind of say to somebody, as it concerns those who are available to pray, if you know the Lord's laid someone on your heart to witness to, maybe you've been having dreams and a certain person keeps coming to mind or you keep running into this person in the hallway, you know you need to tell them about Jesus, but you just are lacking the boldness, then come up here, pray with somebody, and just tell them, "Hey, listen, I need boldness to go tell that person when I feel like the Holy Spirit has laid on my heart." If there's a way that you're trying to strategize to make sure that your work is kingdom work, you may need to come up here and ask somebody, "Hey, man, just pray with me that what I do, what I produce is a representation of the kingdom." Whatever you need prayer for, come here. If you don't need prayer, that's all right. Show the love of Jesus to somebody. We love you so much. We'll see you here next week. God bless.
