I Believe Its Possible

Dr. Tim Rivers | March 2nd, 2025

What's up, everybody? Are you glad to be in God's presence? If you were here last week, we did a whole sermon on just being glad to be in the presence of God. Are you smiling? Check your neighbor, make sure they're smiling. If they're not, slap them upside the head and tell them... Nah, just don't do it. Some of y'all been waiting for permission to slap your neighbor. Hey, before we get into this word, last week was baptism Sunday, and we just want to celebrate the 77 people.

Come on. Oh, come on, you can celebrate more than that. Look at their names right here. All of these names of people that were water baptized. Come on now! So amazing. Hey, listen. It's not just about the numbers, although it is about the numbers, because every number represents a name and every name represents a soul. And so people going public with a declaration that they are in relationship with Jesus is something to celebrate. And so we celebrate all those that have made that decision. If you were here last week or you're here this week and you're like, man, I really want to get water baptized. Don't worry, we've got another one coming up and we'll continue to celebrate.

I want to just preface really quickly what we're going to do today because we are a spirit led church. Let me just tell you what that means. It doesn't mean that we're crazy. Well, I can't speak for everybody. There's some crazies in here, but it just means that everything that we do, we try to plan really well. I think we have great systems and structures, but we are subject to the leading of God's spirit. So if God turns the ship, we turn with the ship, because we're in the boat. And I'm saying that because as we were sermon planning for this year, I was giving the team kind of a rundown of what sermon series that I kind of feel like led to preach for the first half of the year. And I had a... We penciled in a sermon series for this month, and I wasn't really sure if that was the right one, so we penciled it in and then I shared it with you a few weeks ago. But in January, we preached a series called The New.

And one of the sermons was about a new mind. And as I was preaching that and I was talking about God expanding your imagination so that you believe God not based on your limited finite mind, but according to your imagination and his ability, I felt like the Lord led me in a different direction, and I felt like the Holy Spirit was prompting me that we, as a church and people individually, are entering into a season of miracles, signs and wonders. Does anybody need a miracle in this place?

Come on, stretch your hand if you need a miracle, I mean. Oh, that's a lot. Well, let me just say this. I believe it's going to happen within the process of the next few weeks. I'm not sure y'all are ready. Now anytime God gives me a word to preach, He tests me first. It happens every week. That's why I'm very careful about what I preach. I don't like to preach on trials and tribulations because it's like God's like, oh, okay, I got you. Monday, pow!

But I feel like when I got that word, I felt like, man, Janice and I, our family has had to be stretched. Our faith has had to be stretched. And so, as I teach this, as I preach this, I'm not preaching it to you from head knowledge. I'm preaching this from personal experience, because God is stretching my faith, okay? And I believe that this is the message. It's the precursor to the miracle signs and wonders that God wants to do in your life. So you got to catch this word. Is that all right? Stand to your feet. Turn with me to Mark chapter 9. The book of Mark chapter 9. You've probably heard this story before. We're going to read quite a few verses because I want you to get the context for the entire story. If you have a paper Bible, say yes!

Oh, I like that the yes just continued. If you're electronic or screens, make some noise. Come on now. There we go. Modern technology. Mark chapter 9 verse number 14. Here it is. And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great crowd around them and scribes arguing with them. And immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed and ran up to him and greeted him. And he asked them, what are you arguing about with them? Come on, man, what's this all about? And someone from the crowd answered him, teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. And whenever it seizes him and throws him down and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.

And he answered them, oh, faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? And how long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me. And they brought the boy to Him. And when the Spirit saw Him immediately. It convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. And Jesus asked his father, how long has this been happening to him? And he said, from childhood. And it has often cast him into the fire and into water to destroy him. But if you can do anything now, I want you to notice the shift real quick. Because initially he came very specifically to Jesus. I want this type of miracle because I'm in this type of situation. But after he was met with disappointment, he adjusted the specificity of his prayer to be a little more broad. How many of us quit being specific because we've dealt with some disappointment? And then we go, God, if you can do anything. Hey, if you're not gonna deliver me from this sickness, at least hook me up with the right doctors.

If you're not gonna do this, then at least give me that. And if you're not careful disappointment will affect your level of prayer. He said, but if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. And Jesus said to him, what you mean, if I can? Some of y'all's translation has an exclamation mark, but this is really a question and an exclamation mark. It's Jesus being like bro, seriously. If I can. He said, all things. Somebody say all things. Are possible. Here's the key word. Say possible.

All things are possible for one who believes. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, this is my favorite... This is literally my favorite phrase in the Bible. I believe, help my unbelief. And when Jesus saw that the crowd came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, you mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again. And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse. So that most of them said, he is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately. They didn't want to get embarrassed in public. Why could we not cast it out? And He said to them, this kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.

I want to take really my subject from verse number 23. And Jesus said to him, the 24, if you can, what do you mean? All things are possible for one who believes? Here's my subject for today. I believe it's possible. Look at your neighbor. Say neighbor. I believe.

It's possible.

Look at your other neighbor. They didn't look convinced. Look at your other neighbor. Say other neighbor.

I believe.

It's possible.

If you believe that a breakthrough is possible, that a miracle is possible in your life, would you just take 10 seconds and give God a pre praise. For everyone that needs a miracle just give God praise in advance for the miracle that's on the way. I believe it's possible. Father, we thank you so much for allowing us to be in your house. Your spirit's already here. I pray that in the next few moments you would give us ears to hear, a heart to receive, a mind to understand what you would say to us. Change us from the inside out. Help us to walk out of here different than the way we walked in. I pray, Lord, for miracle signs and wonders to take place today and then the next few days, the next few weeks, God. Prayers that have been prayed for years, I pray that they would be answered. Belief for a miracle, I pray that it would be met. I know that you can do all things and we depend on you solely. Help me to get out of the way and make room for the spirit to speak. We give your name, the praise, the glory, the honor. Because you're worthy of it. In Jesus name and everybody say amen.

You may be seated. Except for my mom. Y'all, it's her birthday today. I get to do this now. Happy birthday, mom. I'm grateful you were born, 'cause it's the only reason I'm here. But we love you. You have taught me so much about believing God, about faith. In fact, I would say this message is birthed out of just my experience of watching you and dad walk faith after faith. Y'all, I could take all day and tell you stories about walking faith. My mom believes so much that God is able to do anything. She gives him praise for the little things I'm talking about, someone hands her a cup of tea and she's like, God knew I wanted a cup of tea. You know what I'm saying? So thank you for your prayers, for your example.

This message is really a fruit of the seeds that you've sown. Happy birthday. I love you. I don't know. This really is going to tell what kind of church you grew up, but y'all remember when we used to sing happy birthday to people in the church? Everyone in the month of January, stand up. Happy birthday to you. I'm not going to do that to you. But somebody say faith.

Faith. Most of us know if you're here today, you know that faith is a common word that we use in Christianity. And that's because we all instinctively know that faith is necessary and essential for Christianity. We know that it requires faith to believe the gospel message. In fact, it takes faith to believe that God even exists. You are here because you have faith. And oftentimes we have a misunderstanding of what faith is, but you have to have faith to believe that the son of God, Jesus, God himself, robed himself in the earth suit of humanity, descended down from heaven, lived among us, died, was buried, and rose again and He did it all for us.

And you have to have faith to apply the death, burying and resurrection of Christ to your own life, believing that it is His burial, death and resurrection that has provided us an opportunity to be transformed in this world and give us access into the world to come. You have to have faith.

It takes faith to believe that where I am is not where I'm staying. Now, I want to give you a biblical definition of faith. So you know, when I talk about faith, what I mean. A biblical definition or a meaning of faith, when the Bible speaks of it, is simply put trust. So trust or faith, the Greek word is "pistis" is a strong confidence in and reliance upon someone or something, often with the object of trust understood.

So faith is simply placing your trust and confidence and reliance upon someone or something, often with the object of trust understood. Now here's what the scripture says about faith. In Hebrews chapter 11, verse number 1. Very popular passage of scripture. It says, now faith. Now you can replace that word with trust. Now, trust is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. In other words, I need faith. I need trust to believe in something that I cannot see. For by it, by trust, by faith, the people of old receive their commendation. By faith or by trust, we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Now, the writer of Hebrews, he gives us his explanation of what faith is. And then he tells us a quick story about the life of Abel. And then he gives us an example of the life of Enoch. And if you know About Hebrews chapter 11, Hebrews chapter 11 is often called "The Hall of Faith" because the writer of Hebrews is going to go through and give us personal examples of people who have exercised faith and what the result of their faith was.

Okay, so, but then he adds another layer to faith in Hebrews chapter 11 verse number 6, let's look at it. He says, and without faith or without trust. Now, this word trust or faith right here in this passage is actually just a noun. Y'all remember what a noun is? People, places or things. It is a definition of something. So the writer of Hebrews says now faith, the noun faith, he says without it, it is literally impossible to please Him, to please God. For whoever would draw near to God, that word draw near literally means get close to God. Which by the way is the entire purpose of being a Christian. The purpose of being a Christian is not to escape hell, it's not to twist God's arm into getting blessings. But the purpose of being a Christian is to follow and get close to God. And what the writer of Hebrew is saying is that first of all, without faith, without trust, it is literally impossible to please God. For whoever believes in God forever, whoever wants to draw nigh to God must believe. And the word believe is actually a verb. The word believe is the same word, trust or faith, but it's faith in action. It means that whoever would draw near to God must have faith in action, must put one's trust in something. That He exists, number 1, and that He rewards those who seek Him. Now the word reward actually means to make payments in return for a service.

You're telling me that God will pay me for seeking Him? According to the scripture. That the closer you get to God, the more he rewards you. Because what God is really good at is giving you more, the more you get close to Him. I believe that I'm God's favorite child. I don't know about y'all, but I believe that God's... I'm God's favorite child. And here's the thing, when you're a child, you believe that what you do is going to be rewarded, generally speaking. We just experienced this last night. We have our children in their rooms and we have one of our children. I'm not going to mention their names. I don't want to bring Zane into this but Zane is our three year old and we've been trying to convince him to stay in his bed, right? He's having none of it. He is best friends with Janice and so he's wanting to be around his best friend all the time, even at night. So he comes in sometimes, he sneaks... We've watched him, we videoed him take 10 minutes to sneak into the room. This guy is committed.

So last night he wakes up about 11 o'clock and come check on me. So I go in the room and I'm trying to negotiate with a three year old which by the way would test your faith. And I tell him, I said, hey, man, what's it gonna take, bro? What's it gonna take for you to stay in your bed? And he just didn't know. So I said, hey, how about this? If you stay in your bed and obey and stay in your bed all night, then when you get up, I'm gonna give you candy.

Now, some of your parents are like, what? Yes, before breakfast. I'm giving you because I value my sleep. All right. I will pay whatever it costs. And you know what he did? He stayed in his bed. But you know the first thing that he did when he got up? He ran into the kitchen where he knew I was, and he just stared at me. I said, what's up? He goes, I stayed in my bed all night. I said, noted. And I went and got him a lollipop, and I gave it to him.

He obeyed, believing that I'm a rewarder for his obedience. Why don't we believe that about God? That the more I chase after God, the more I believe he's going to reward me. All right, I need to keep going. So if faith is so essential and necessary, the question is, how do I get it? Now, for most people, the way you grew up and the way you were taught about faith is that faith just happens. How many grew up in church and you said, man, what does it take? They say it just takes faith. You say, how do I get it? They say, it just happens. You're like, what? And most people grow up thinking that as long as you come at his altar and you getting convulsions and you tarry and you stay at the altar for two or three hours and somebody's rocking you back and forth and wiping your mouth with a napkin, that eventually you're gonna get enough faith to get the Holy Ghost.

But the truth is, Paul tells us how to access faith in Romans, chapter 10, verse number 17. This is what he says. So faith comes by hearing and hearing through the word of Christ. So to access faith, we have to hear the Word of God. Faith and trust is not built on experience or what you see, because if you've experienced it or you see it, you already have proof and don't need to access trust.

If I already know that I have it, why would I believe for it? Faith and trust is only necessary when the thing that you require is inaccessible. Faith is only necessary when you come to the end of your human rope and you need God to intervene on your behalf. It's the word of God that activates the trust receptors. Why? Because the word of God is creative, meaning that every time you hear the word of God, you read the word of God, you meditate on the word of God. It is activating more trust, more faith in your life, that's the reason why some people have really, really low levels of trust in God is because they don't hear His word. They don't read His Word, they don't meditate on His Word. If you don't get into the creative word of God, there ain't gonna be no creation in your life.

How do we know that God's Word is creative? Very introduction of God speaking. He's speaking the world into existence. God literally says, let there be light. And there was light. Because every time God speaks, this is what the scripture says, that whenever God speaks, whatever He says will be performed. The word of God will never return unto Him void. So whatever God speaks in your life, guess what? It's already been activated. You just have to trust that the one who's speaking is telling the truth. Ooh, Lord, I'm just preaching to myself.

No, no, no, no. I gotta keep teaching now. Because when the writer of Hebrews gives us the list of people in The Hall of Faith, the most prominent thread that runs through every one of their stories, remember, this is The Hall of Faith, their activation of faith, and their living in their faith. The most prominent thread in all of their lives is that every one of them experienced a miracle. Now, let's be honest. Anytime you hear the word miracle, the reason why many of us are skeptical is because when we think of miracles, we think of the most extreme version.

Like when I say that God is going to perform miracles, y'all think I'm gonna wheel somebody in here that's dead and expect them? Nah, that ain't gonna happen, y'all. Let me explain what a miracle is. The biblical definition of a miracle. A miracle is an unexpected outpouring of God's power in an event that defies ordinary explanation which occurs to advance God's kingdom. Let me say it again. A miracle is an unexpected outpouring of God's power in an event that defies ordinary explanation which occurs to advance God's kingdom. A miracle defies the natural order. A miracle is when the divine intercepts the natural and performs an act that is impossible to accomplish by mere human ability.

A miracle is when God intercepts your ordinary life and performs something that you could not do on your own. You couldn't save yourself. You tried. You went to all the meetings, you talked to all the people, but you couldn't deliver yourself. And yet when you cried out to God and God delivered you in an instant, He saved you in a moment. That's the reason why you are living, breathing, walking, talking miracle. So if God never does another thing in my life that is extraordinary, just the fact that He saved my life is a miracle because I couldn't save myself.

Oh, I'm trying to behave myself, but I may not. Since a miracle is an act incapable of being performed by mere humanity, a miracle requires an appeal for divine intervention. An appeal... Let me teach this thing. An appeal for divine intervention would be impossible without the requester's internal conviction and belief that the miracle is possible. In other words, I'm not going to ask for something that I don't believe there's a chance it could happen. I don't go to the plumber and ask him to work on my electricity. I don't believe he has the ability to do so. But I will go to a plumber and say, hey, man, my toilet stopped up and not because of me.

Listen, the reason why some people don't pray is because they don't believe that God actually works miracles. The reason why some of us don't ask God to do things is because we doubt His ability. So before you ever even get to asking the question, you've got to determine in your mind that there might be a slight chance. I'm not saying it's going to happen. I don't have a guarantee that it's going to happen. But I won't even ask unless I believe that there's a chance.

Every request for a miracle begins with the belief that a miracle is possible. The belief that a miracle is possible sets the stage for the request. This is why the Bible says that anyone that comes to God must believe that first of all, He exists. You know how many people don't believe that God exists? They'd be in church. They'll go through the routine, but they won't pray. They won't read His Word. Why? Because they may have doubts that He even exists. I may not get what I want, but I won't even ask unless I believe.

Let me go to Mark chapter 9, because Mark, chapter 9 is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Let me give you a little context. Jesus is up on the mountain with Peter, James and John, and He is just... They have just witnessed Him being transfigured before them. And so they're coming down from the mountain, and as they're coming down, Jesus is like, hey, y'all saw something extraordinary. Make sure you don't tell anybody. I'm always curious as to why Jesus tells people who just experience something crazy, like, don't say nothing. It's like, really? Like, my face is glowing.

It's like somebody... You ever seen somebody get engaged and they're... You're like, something's different about you. And they're like... 'Cause they want you to see, right? He's telling them, hey, listen, don't tell nobody what you just saw. They come down from the mountain, they have this amazing experience. And as they're coming down to the base of the mountain, they're met with some arguments between the disciples and some scribes. Isn't that just life? As soon as you experience something phenomenal and you're in the glory of God and you're just experiencing something amazing with Jesus, you come back down to earth and what do you find? Chaos, right? So Jesus comes down, he sees chaos. He goes, what are y'all arguing about? And they said... And they're going back and forth. And then finally a guy steps out of the crowd and says, Jesus, my son is inflicted. I need a miracle. So having faith and believing that it is possible, I brought my son to your disciples. Really I brought him to you, but you weren't here. So I had the D squad. I had the third in line. They weren't even in Peter, James, and John. This is the... You left me the bottom of the barrel. He said, and they were not able to work the miracle.

And Jesus goes, ah. Again. Jesus looks at them and says, oh, you of little faith, man. How long am I going to be with you? How long am I going to have to pick up the slack? How long is this going to go on? Then he looks at the man, He says, hey, listen, bring your son here. And he brings the son here to Jesus and He asks the man, hey, how long have you been needing this miracle? And the man says, this has been going on since the boy was little. And then he tells him what the situation is and I think it's interesting that Jesus asked him how long it's been going on. And I kind of wonder, is it relevant to the situation? But I think sometimes the writers, especially of the gospel, want to let you know that not all miracles are instant. The writers of the gospels want you to know that, I know you're reading about the miracle, but this has been happening for a long time.

The woman who had the issue of blood, it was 12 years. The man by the Pool of Bethesda. Guess what? It was a long time that he was there. This has been going on for a long while. It also gives you confidence that if you're praying for a miracle, don't stop praying. Don't. You may be going through a season where you're like, I'm waiting for it. Keep waiting and keep praying. So, so, so, so this is what happens. He brings him to Jesus and Jesus says, okay, what's the situation? And he tells him the situation. And then the Father says to Jesus, he says, listen, if you can do anything at this point, I'll take anything. If you don't heal my son, at least give me the doctors. If you're not going to work this miracle, at least connect me with the right people who will encourage me while I'm going through this season. If you're not going to work this specific miracle, then at least give me something. If you ain't going to give me a dollar, give me a nickel, right? Like, I will take anything. He says, if you can do anything. And Jesus says this, what do you mean if I can do anything? Do you not know who you're talking to? Have you not heard all the reports before I got here? And here's what's interesting.

The writer of Mark is actually... The Gospel of Mark records the most miracles that Jesus performed. Mark spends most of his time in his gospel recording all the events of Jesus working miracles. So before Jesus even gets here, the reason why Jesus is like, what do you mean, if you can? Listen, dude, before I got here, let me just list off some things that Jesus did. Jesus healed the man with the unclean spirit in Capernaum. He cleansed the leper. He healed a paralytic who was let down through the roof. He healed the man with the withered hand. He calmed the storm with his words. He cast out demons from the demoniac possessed by a legion of demons. He healed the woman with the issue of blood. He raised Jairus daughter. He fed 5,000 with two fish and five loaves of bread. He walked on water. He healed the sickness sick in Gennesaret. He cast out demons from the Syrophoenician woman's daughter. He healed the deaf man. He fed another 4,000 people. He healed the blind man at Bethesda. He was just transfigured in a mountain. Jesus like, what do you mean? If I can?

Isn't it amazing how sometimes we come to Jesus as if this is the first time He would perform a miracle? And it's like, what do you mean, if God can, did He not deliver you out of darkness into His marvelous light? Has He not provided for you when you didn't have.

Has He not given you friends when you were friendless? Has He not made a way where you were confused? Has He not healed your mind when you were... What do you mean? Let me tell you something. Sometimes we forget all the stuff He's already done in our lives. If God never does another thing in your life, you've got enough reason to give Him praise today for all of the miracles He has already performed in your. If I were to take this mic and pass it out, we would be here for days of people explaining how they were in the hospital and they got a bad report from the doctor, but God performed a miracle. Where they were at the end of their robe, Jesus stepped in, and they had a divine intervention, which is a miracle. Okay, okay. All right. I'll chill. No, I won't. Jesus is like, what do you mean, if I can? This ain't on me, dawg. This has nothing to do with my ability. My resume is nice. Check my log, see my history. You know I can perform miracles. You know anything is possible for me. This ain't got nothing to do with me. This has everything to do with you.

Then Jesus said, let me give you the prerequisite for your miracle. Anything you want to ask me if I can do anything? Let me tell you something. Anything is possible if you believe that it's possible. Here's what's interesting. Jesus didn't give him a guarantee. Jesus didn't make him a promise. Jesus didn't sign a deal. Jesus didn't broker a trade. The simple thing that Jesus said is, I just need you to believe that it's possible. I don't need you to figure it out. I don't need you to come up with the solution. I don't need you to be a strategic thinker. I don't need you to set up the system. I don't need you to come up with the structure. I just need you to believe. Is there a chance? Because if you believe that there is a chance, it will activate your prayers. The Father then gives one of the most honest replies recorded in Scripture. He says, I believe it's possible, but I got my doubts. Isn't the man justified in having doubts? He just brought his son for a miracle and he didn't get it. So he was being honest with Jesus.

Jesus, I do believe everything. Why do you think I'm here? Have you ever prayed and people like, just trust God and you're like, why do you think I'm down here for prayer? Just believe God. And you're like, yeah, that's why I'm down here. That's why I'm asking. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, yeah. And Jesus said, that's all I need. Now here's what's interesting. Jesus doesn't even address his unbelief. Jesus says nothing about the fact that he is dealing with doubts. Jesus was like... Jesus wasn't like, amen. Yeah, I'll need you to take care of that doubt first, bro. Jesus wasn't like, hey, you know what? You got some faith, but I need you to elevate your faith. Jesus didn't say, hey, I need you to have perfect faith. Jesus didn't say, hey, I need you to have... I need you to be completely 100% confident that this will happen. Jesus doesn't answer him according to the poverty of his unbelief. He answers him according to the riches of his believing that it is possible. In fact, this is what Jesus said. You asked the question, how much faith do I need? They came to Jesus.

The disciples came to Jesus afterwards. Jesus, how much faith do we actually need? This is what Jesus said. Matthew, chapter 17 verse 20. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith, like a grain of mustard seed, you can't even see it. He says, you will be able to say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. And nothing, somebody say, nothing and nothing will be impossible for you. You don't need to make it happen. You don't need to try to figure it out. You don't have to come up with the strategy. You don't have to have all the answers. Sometimes we come to God believing for a miracle and then hand him our strategic plan for how we're gonna get it. We're like, God, I need a spouse. By the way, I want him to make $500,000 a year. Six foot two, 235 pounds of straight muscle, tall, dark and handsome, driving S class. And God's like, wait a minute. That is a miracle, right? Sometimes we come to God believing for a miracle and then try to dictate how He's gonna do it. God don't need your help.

If you were gonna help Him, guess what? It wouldn't be a miracle. If you can do it, don't even ask God. Go do it. Now here's what you can do. Pray and ask for that and say, God, I'm not going to hold you to it. But I believe it's possible. Because here's the thing. Every miracle, every requested miracle recorded in scripture begins by just believing that it's possible. The word possible means that you don't have a guarantee.

The word possible means that you don't have a signed contract. The word possible means that, guess what? You don't have the answer yet. The word possible means that there's just a chance and some of us will not go to God because we're still waiting for God to give us a guarantee that when we pray, it will actually happen. And God says, that ain't the way I work. You can't dictate my answers. All I need you to do is believe that it is possible. Listen, Moses believed it was possible that God was talking to him. So he had a conversation with a burning bush. Jacob believed that it was possible that his circumstances would change. So he wrestled with the angel.

Joshua believed that it was possible that God was going to give him the city. So he walked around the walls of Jericho. David believed that it was possible that God would give him victory. So he swung on Goliath. Daniel believed that it was possible that God would preserve him. So he stepped into the lion's den. The Hebrew boys believed that it was possible that God would deliver them. So he stepped into the fiery furnace. Peter believed that it was possible that he would walk on water. So he got out of the boat. Blind Bartimaeus believed that it was possible that God, that Jesus would restore his sight. So he said, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. The woman believed that it was possible that God would deliver her from a situation she's been in. So she touched the hem of His garment. Oh, I could go on and on and on and on. The boy believed that it was possible that God could take limited resources and feed 5000 men now counting women and children. So he gave his two fish and five loaves of bread. God does not need you to figure out where the miracle is coming from, how it's going to happen, what the timing is.

He just needs you to believe that it is possible. Look at your neighbor and tell him, do you believe that it's possible? Jesus didn't give this man a contract, a signed contract. He didn't say, let me see how you work first. And then I'll reply, Jesus didn't give him anything. The only guarantee that Jesus gave this man is that literally anything is possible. If you believe that it's possible.

God convicted me in January. I'm sitting here preaching, telling you, new thing is coming. And I preached the whole message. A new mind using your imagination. And God was like, but you've been praying based on what you can do. You've been asking for a building based on the budget. You have created a nice fancy little border, and you've been asking me to move within the border. I don't move in borders. God's like, if you can do it, do it. You don't need my help. But if you're gonna come to me, you better come to me with something that you cannot do. So you know what? I've been praying. I've been praying outside of my own abilities.

So this is what I've been praying. God, you know we need a bigger building, so move on somebody to come [0:42:40.6] ____ over the deed to 25 acres. Some of y'all looking at me crazy. Listen, I know it's possible because I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen God work with my own eyes. I've seen Him perform the healings. I've seen Him perform the signs and wonders. So can I make it personal? I believe it's possible so I'll fill out the application for the home. I believe it's possible so I'll apply for the loan. I believe it's possible so I'll submit my bid for the project. I believe it's possible so I'll pray for my healing. I believe it's possible so I'll apply for the position. I believe it's possible so I'll ask for the business deal. I believe it's possible so I'll ask for for the raise. I believe it's possible so I'll ask her out. I believe it's possible, so I'll take the risk. I believe it's possible so I'll put the house up for sale. I believe it's possible so I'll ask God for my kids to come back. Somebody give God praise in this place if you believe that it's possible.

Whoo. Hey, listen. You're like, man, I don't know, bro. That's what I came to challenge. That's what the word of God is going to do. It's going to challenge your preconceived ideas of how God moves, when He moves, and what He's going to do. A miracle is not a miracle if you knew what the outcome would be. I believe it's possible to be healed, so I pray for healings. I believe it's possible to break down strongholds in your life. So I pray that God breaks every stronghold. I believe it's possible to be prosperous. So I pray that God blesses your finances. I believe it's possible to be the head and not the tail. So I ask that God gives you leadership. I believe it's possible that you're the lender and not the borrower. So I pray that God would increase you. I believe it's possible that miracles, signs and wonders are for today. So I'm gonna pray for it, I'm gonna believe for it. I'm gonna ask for it. I'm gonna worship for it.

Anything. Somebody say anything. Anything. You mean there's nothing that God can't do? Nothing is impossible for God. Listen, listen. I told y'all I'm praying from... I'm preaching from personal experience and conviction from the Holy Spirit that I have been praying controlled prayers. I've been praying based on what I know, I've seen, but not from what I've heard. Because what you hear is what you cannot see. There's no proof of it. God has... All right, here it goes. The Lord gave me a word back in '23, in '23 that in the third year of pastoring Embassy City, God would show us the building we're going to. Now, I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't a little nervous to tell you that because the humanity side of me says, what if it don't happen? And I'm already prepared if it don't happen. That man was prophe-lying. But I actually am believing that God will do what He said He will do. He's able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we are able to ask or think. You gotta raise your level of just believing. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. I believe it's possible. Not here to manipulate you. I'm not here to twist your arm. I'm not here to give you any kind of promises. I'm not here to tell you it's going to happen this week.

I'm not here to tell you that it's going to happen tomorrow. I'm here to tell you it's possible it'll happen this week. I'm here to tell you don't stop praying. I'm saying don't stop believing. Because it is possible. It is possible that next Sunday is the Sunday that your lost loved one comes walking through the door. I'm saying it is possible that this week you're going to get a good report from the doctor, so you might as well pray accordingly. I'm saying it's possible that God is going to restore your marriage and make it better in the years to come than it has been. I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow, but I'm saying it's possible it'll start tomorrow. I'm trying to challenge you, because we're... I'm telling you, I'm just gonna... We're gonna talk about miracle signs and wonders, and some of y'all are gonna be tripping. Like, really, I don't need you to not have doubt. Doubt is a human emotion when considering the infinity of the spiritual realm. It's natural. In fact, let me say this. If you don't have doubt, it don't require faith. Doubt is actually indication that faith is required.

Don't let anybody tell you not to ask for something unless you have 100% guaranteed faith. If you're at that level, you're already in glory. You're an angel. Even angels had doubts. At least a third of them did. And God said ain't got no time. I got no time for that. In my presence. But you're on Earth. You ain't no angel. Sorry. If your name is Angel, then you are an Angel. All I need you to do this week say God, I don't know, but I believe it's possible. The key word for you. The prerequisite for miracles is just believing it's possible. Janice and I know personally, because this week we've had to pray. We don't know, but there is a chance. And if there's a chance, I'm going to believe for it. I'm going to take it. Listen, you've been looking at that girl for months now, stalking her Instagram. I don't think it's going to... Listen, there's a chance, and if there's a chance, you better ask. You have not because you ask not. I'm not saying that he's going to say yes, but I'm saying if there's a chance, I'm going to ask for it.

If there's a chance that there's a breakthrough, I'm going to pray for one. If there's a chance that there's a healing, I'm going to pray for it. If there's a chance that I'm going to get that business deal, I'm going to pray for it. If there's a chance that God's going to give me that promotion, I'm going to ask for it. If there's a chance that I'm going to get the raise, I'm going to ask for it. If there's a chance that you're gonna come through for me, I'm gonna take it. Why? Because I believe that it is possible. Somebody take 10 seconds and give God it's possible praise.
