Embassy City Baptism
Here’s what you need to know
What is water baptism?
Water baptism is a public declaration of a believer’s life altering experience with Christ.
When a believer is fully immersed in water it symbolizes the burial of our past and the resurrection of our new life in Christ. This act represents the death and resurrection of Christ himself.
Why do we baptize?
At Embassy, we believe water baptism is a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus. In a wedding ceremony, the bride and groom exchange wedding rings as a declaration of their marriage covenant. Similarly, water baptism is a declaration of the covenant you’ve made with God.
