Child Dedication

What is Child Dedication?

Child dedication is a special opportunity for parents to make a commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home. This ceremony will give parents the opportunity to celebrate with family and friends the gift they received from God as they make a declaration to follow Christ and obey His Word.

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there. 1 Samuel 1:27–28

What to Expect.

During the scheduled worship service, parents will have an opportunity, along with other families, to stand before the church and make a public commitment to raise their child in the fear of the Lord.

Following the dedication service, you will be provided with an opportunity to take a professional family photograph to commemorate the special day.
